SummaryJiroubou had all along been after Orihime, which is what Ishida calls the coward’s way of fighting, not bearing to kill, but just to make sure that Jiroubou cannot return to becoming a Shinigami, destroys his Soul Sleep and Chain Link. Ganju and Ichigo, both being chased by large groups of Shinigami from the 11th Division, meet up finally, but are now surrounded. They get a hostage, Yamada Hanatarou, who doesn’t serve much purpose as the 11th Division guys would be more than happy to see him die. Mayuri tries to interrogate Ikkaku regarding Ichigo, but Ikkaku will not spill even one bean, telling only Zaraki and Yachiru what he knows.
